PURCHASE OF GOODS

Age restriction

No person under the age of 18 years (for customers within the UK) may place an order. For other countries, local age restrictions apply.

Personal use

By accepting these terms and conditions you agree that the products you purchase via this web site are exclusively for your personal use, and are not for resale.

Payment and title

All purchases remain the property of The Gower Gin Company Ltd until paid for in full. Payment must be received in full together with the delivery charge and VAT (where applicable) before the items are dispatched to you.

Payment Details

To protect your Credit or Debit card information, we use a specialist Payment Services Provider who is compliant with the VISA and MasterCard PCI (Payment Card Industry) standards. We do not record or store your card details, and no Gower Gin Company Ltd employee has access to any card details.

Cancellation of Orders

If either party cancels an order prior to dispatch and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund.

Gift Vouchers

1. Gift Vouchers are delivered by email following successful checkout completion to the customer and contain instructions on how to redeem them at checkout.
2. Discount codes cannot be used towards the purchase of a Gift Voucher.
3. If an order purchased with a Gift Voucher is returned, the value will be refunded into the Gift Voucher balance and will be available for a future purchase.
4. Digital Gift Vouchers  are only redeemable at https://the-gower-gin-company.myshopify.com/
5. Gift cards have no additional processing fees.

Gift Card (Distillery Tasting & Bottle of Gin)

All Gift Cards carry a unique serial number which must be quoted when dealing with us. We will send details of how to book the Distillery Tasting.  Owing to unforseen circumstances, we may have to rearrange bookings at short notice and we will keep you informed of this. We will need to see the Gift Card on the day of the Distillery Tasting. We recommend sending Gift Cards by registered mail as they are not replaceable if lost. We cannot accept responsibility for any loss you may incur as a result of theft, impersonation or identity fraud. Your Gift Card will be deemed to be used at the date you have booked to visit the Distillery.

1. The promoter is: Gower Gin Company Ltd, Port Eynon, Swansea, SA3 1NL
2. The Giveaway is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over except employees of Gower Gin and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the organisation or judging of the Giveaway.
3. All online customers who buy 2 x bottles of Gower gin or Festive Bundle will be entered into this Giveaway, 
4. By entering this Giveaway an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
5. Route to entry for the Giveaway and details of how to enter are via ourShopify online shop.
6. Closing date for entry will be 23.59pm GMT on 15th December 2024 . After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
7. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
8. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the Giveaway  and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
9. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
10. The prize is 12 x 70cl bottles of Gower Gin.
11. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. Prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
12. One winner will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter on 16th December 2024. The winner will receive the the prizes outlined above.
13. The winner will be notified within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner can not be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
14. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the Giveaway will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
15. By entering this Giveaway, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
16. The Giveaway and these terms and conditions will be governed by UK law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
17. The winner agrees to the use of their name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will only be disclosed with a third party to ensure the delivery of the prize. By sharing their address, the winner agrees to these terms.

19. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
20. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Meta or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Gower Gin and not to any other party.
